Bypass Module installation instructions. Take your time do a little research and you’ll find it’s pretty easy! These alternators come with a heavy-duty built-in voltage regulator with 14.8 voltage set point. This regulator will eliminate voltage fluctuation that occurs when using the vehicles stock RVC charging system controlled through the ECU. Simply connect our provided red wire marked “IGNITION” coming out of the regulator plug to a 12-volt switched source ON/OFF with the key switch. The original 2 prong plug that went to your original alternator will now plug directly into our provided 2 pin Bypass Module. This module will not work with your original OEM alternator.
